Following the success achieved by Shipcares mobile workshop based in Dubai the company is now basing another in China. The unit will be able to reach vessels anywhere in Asia requiring repairs very quickly and is fully equipped to carry out any work needed. For the full story click here.

November 2016

A team of Shipcares Engineers recently went to Panama to carry out extensive repairs on the propeller of a 74000 DWT crude oil tanker; repairs which required the onsite construction of a furnace large enough to accommodate the 7.2 metre diametre propeller. February 2016

Our new mobile workshop is undertaking its first major assignment in Oman. The workshop enables us to repair vessels in docks where the necessary technical facilities for extensive propeller repairs are not available. For the full story and pictures click here.

December 2015

Stone Marine Shipcare despatched a six man service team to QingDao Beihai Shipyard, China, to carry out back-to-back propeller repairs on two Danish bulk carriers that had sustained ice damage. The full story and pictures are here.

When serious damage to two blades of the propeller on a cargo ship were identified in Canada an engineer was flown out to assess the damage and repairs were arranged with minimum disruption to the ships schedule. Full story here.
