Meet the Team

Fran has worked for Stone Marine for over 24Yrs, starting as an apprentice in 1997 he has travelled extensively for the company undertaking propeller repairs and managing projects in over 30 countries worldwide.

Prior to his appointment as Managing Director in 2019, Fran held the positions of Service Engineer, Supervisor, Operations Manager and Operations Director and holds a vast knowledge of the marine industry bringing new ideas and a fresh approach to our long-standing heritage.

Gareth has worked with Stone Marine since 2013, bringing 20Yrs of experience working in mechanics, data analysis and sales.

Having held the positions of Technical Assistant, Service Coordinator and Propeller Repair Workshop Supervisor he brings an invaluable understanding of marine maintenance & repairs when introducing our company and skills to new clients and developing our existing client relationships.

Julie has been with us since 2016, having worked in accounts for 25Yrs and qualified in CIMA, she also has extensive experience in freight operations worldwide.

She brings the Service Department valuable experience in both areas. Her web searching and her ability to find any critical information online are legendary.

Charlotte joined us in 2020 as a Digital Media & Marketing intern after completing a BA (Hons) in Business Management at the University of Liverpool.

She manages our social media pages and website, bringing knowledge & experience from her degree to grow our social channels.

Don began and ended his professional career with Stone Marine. Working for 54Yrs, beginning as an apprentice draughtsman and was appointed Managing Director of Stone Marine Shipcare in 2000.

Dons’ attention to detail and his knowledge of propeller manufacture & repair are unrivaled and he remains a much valued member of our Technical Department.

Bill is our longest serving active propeller technician and now supervises our Propeller Repair Workshop in Birkenhead.

Bill is a proud British Army veteran and his experience operating in harsh environments has helped us through some of the most challenging propeller repairs that we have ever undertaken.

Jack has been with us now for 5Yrs and his skill set is developing fast.

He is becoming an experienced propeller technician making valuable contributions to our Service Team on all jobs.

David is a skilled propeller technician and has operated both as a Team Leader and within our Propeller Service Team.

With a keen eye for detail and his knowledge of propeller repair he is a valuable asset for Stone Marine Shipcare.
