CP propeller blades restored by MIG welding, polished and ready to return to a valued customer of ours.
The destructive effects of ‘cavitation erosion’ can clearly be seen here.
If the damage is not corrected and the cause of the cavitation not removed, the effects can be catastrophic.
Preventing this is often a very simple matter.
